Shunxingyuan 2019 Outstanding Employee Guilin Trip - Experience a Different Summer

In June, with fragrant flowers in full bloom and the sun blazing, Dongguan Shunxingyuan Packaging Products Co., Ltd. organized a 3-day, 2-night leisure trip to Guilin, Guangxi for more than 20 outstanding employees of 2019, allowing them to experience the beautiful scenery. This trip provided employees with a chance to relax after a busy first half of the year, enjoy the pleasant natural scenery, release stress amidst the intoxicating views, and capture their smiles against the backdrop of beautiful landscapes.

The weather was clear and comfortable on the day of departure, perfect for a trip! Shunxingyuan Packaging's team members arrived early at the company's first-floor lobby, all energetic and full of vitality. Departing from Dongguan and heading west, they crossed five cities and after a six-hour journey, finally arrived in Guilin, known as "the best landscape under heaven". The vast expanse of greenery filled everyone with joy and anticipation for the days ahead.

On the afternoon of the 14th, the first stop was Jingjiang King's Palace and Duxiu Peak, the true origin of the poem "Guilin's landscape is the best under heaven". From the time Qin Shi Huang built the Great Wall in the north and Lingqu Canal in the south, to the Tang Dynasty when Li Jing built the inner city at the foot of Duxiu Peak, the peak and the palace have been the seat of government and academia for over a thousand years. The Shunxingyuan 2019 outstanding employee tour group had the honor of touring the royal city, viewing the Song Dynasty's remaining cliff carvings, participating in an imperial examination simulation, and climbing Duxiu Peak. Everyone felt honored and deeply attracted by the poetic scene where the city and scenery blend seamlessly.

On the afternoon of the 14th, the second stop was the picturesque Elephant Trunk Hill and Zizhou Island. Located in the core area of the Lijiang River's "Hundred-Li Gallery", Zizhou Island is the most famous island on the river, blending seamlessly with the river and Elephant Trunk Hill. The Shunxingyuan 2019 outstanding employee tour group rented three electric vehicles to fully appreciate the charm of Zizhou Island.

In the evening, under the guidance of the tour guide, the Shunxingyuan team enjoyed Guilin's unique cuisine. After a day of fun, everyone went to the hotel and went to bed early, as more beautiful scenery and exciting activities awaited them the next two days: the ancient town of Xingping, the stunning Lijiang River, the crystal-clear Yinzi Cave, the exotic West Street, and the idyllic Swallow Lake.

The second day's journey began early in the sunny morning. After a night's rest, the Shunxingyuan team was refreshed and enthusiastic.

On the morning of the 15th, the third stop was the "Rubber Kingdom" - Diya. Here, the Shunxingyuan 2019 outstanding employee tour group visited the rubber production process and experienced latex products, getting a taste of Thai culture.

On the afternoon of the 15th, the fourth stop was the essence of the Lijiang River - Xingping Lijiang. Boarding a three-star luxury cruise ship, a two-hour Lijiang River cruise began. The beauty of the Lijiang River has been renowned since ancient times, bringing to mind the poem: "The river is like a green silk ribbon, the mountains like jade hairpins." The scenery of Xingping is the essence of the Lijiang River. From the cruise ship, countless mountains receded one after another, with peaks flanking the river, clear water winding around, and scattered farmland along the riverbank. Everyone either quietly enjoyed the scenery and listened to the sound of the water or took photos and chatted happily.

On the afternoon of the 15th, the fifth stop was the most beautiful cave - Yinzi Cave. After the charming Lijiang River, the group visited Yinzi Cave. Stepping inside, towering stalactites of various shapes were majestic and beautiful, with vibrant colors. The cave was mysterious, winding, and filled with stalactites of different geological ages, sparkling like silver and diamonds, crystal clear and flawless. Under the lights, they resembled the Milky Way cascading down, the breathtaking karst landform left everyone amazed.

On the evening of the 15th, the sixth stop was the spectacular stage play - Impression Liu Sanjie. A day of fulfilling sightseeing culminated in a romantic and grand performance. The performance used nature as its stage. Under the night sky, twelve mountain peaks appeared and disappeared under the lights, and mist shrouded the two-kilometer stretch of the Lijiang River, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The actors entered by boat, their singing echoing through the valley, their dancing graceful and elegant. The song and dance performance and the thousands of fishing fires were breathtaking, and the depiction of Guilin life on the banks of the Lijiang River was even more poetic: streets, herdsmen, old cows, laundry women, cooks... In the artificially created mist, the scenery appeared and disappeared, like a mirage.

After the show, everyone went to the lively West Street. Some bought ethnic clothing, some went for drinks, some looked at handicrafts, and some went to a bar to listen to popular singers, all having a great time.

On the third day, it rained lightly. After the rain, Yangshuo revealed mist-shrouded, graceful mountains, offering a strong experience of color. Green was the main tone, but white, yellow, and red also dotted the landscape. Post-rain Yangshuo was so beautiful; one wouldn't want to be a god, only a Yangshuo resident.

On the morning of the 16th, at our seventh stop, we visited the ancient Dong village of Maling Guzhai. After leaving Yangshuo County, the rain stopped, and the sky cleared. The Shunxingyuan 2019 Outstanding Employee Travel Group went to the ancient Dong village, visiting the Dong Culture Exhibition Hall to learn about the customs and clothing and accessories of the ethnic minority. Standing under the stilt houses, we watched the old woman's flowing hair, walked across the wind and rain bridge, and experienced firsthand the exquisite craftsmanship of the Dong people. In the ancient village with its strong ethnic characteristics, we touched Dong culture bit by bit and felt the ancient, tranquil, and leisurely life of the Dong villagers.

On the afternoon of the 16th, at our eighth stop, we experienced the earthly paradise of Yanzi Lake. Upon arrival, we revisited Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Spring," with its "flat land, neat houses, and good fields, beautiful ponds, mulberry trees, and bamboo." Mountains, countryside, and ethnic minorities blend together, creating a real-life Peach Blossom Spring that makes one linger.

Guilin's mountains, water, people, products, and life are all so beautiful. The Shunxingyuan comrades must not only be representatives of first-class quality and experts in clothing and packaging bag manufacturing, but also have poetry and the distance.

This Guilin trip provided Shunxingyuan comrades with an opportunity to get close to nature, connect with each other, communicate, and relieve stress. It was also a breakthrough journey, a challenge for the future, a breakthrough for ourselves, to become better Shunxingyuan warriors.
