Nine of the most difficult colors to print on packaging bags, and how to do it well?
Everyone wants exquisite packaging bags, and the exquisiteness of the packaging bags depends on printing. Printing is an important part of packaging bag production, so there are many issues to pay attention to. Shunxingyuan Packaging, a professional flexible packaging manufacturer, lists nine colors that are more difficult to print and some pre-press design precautions for reference by many customers who need packaging bags.

1、 Gray Balance
According to theory and practical production experience, the most difficult color to control in printing is gray balance. Gray balance is the combination of yellow, magenta, and cyan primary colors from light to dark in a certain dot ratio under certain printing suitability to obtain different brightness achromatic colors (white, light gray, gray, dark gray, black), that is, to obtain the color of visual neutral gray. Many factors affect it. The amount of ink used in printing, paper, full-color density, dot area, overprinting, and screen lines will all have a subtle impact on gray balance. This is the most test of the machine's register accuracy and the operator's skill level.
2、 4-color overprinting and 3-color overprinting
Do not print full-color (it is recommended to use spot color).
3、 Things designed by people who don't understand printing are the most difficult to print.
Color is one aspect, as well as too many extremely fine and small characters that are translucent, etc.
4、 C=50, M=50, Y=50, K=50 large flat screen
Even a slight inaccuracy will cause serious color deviation.

5、 Four-color text
That is, there are characters in all four colors in CMYK, especially very small characters, which are difficult to register and require extremely high requirements for the paper feeding teeth of the machine. This is also a common problem, so before the pre-press designer outputs, they must check the black text in the publication file, especially small characters, to see if they only appear on the black plate and should not appear on the other three color plates. If they do appear, the quality of the finished product will be greatly reduced. When RGB graphics are converted to CMYK graphics, black text will definitely become four-color black. Unless specially specified, it must be processed.
6、 Also, black backgrounds are not easy to handle.
For black backgrounds, special black ink or double printing can be used to achieve the effect, which is not difficult to print, but it is more labor-intensive.
7、 The superposition of several color dots, especially those exceeding 70% dot area
Specifically, dark brown, coffee color, dark green (flat screen, containing 70% blue), dark blue, purplish blue, etc., due to the existence of color differences, are not easy to find balance on the printing machine, so they are all difficult colors to print.
8、 Generally, full-color items in printing
Spot color full-color or large area, reverse white characters, the same logo, and the same color blocks are generally difficult to match colors, and it is easy to produce color difference, ghosting, smudging, and scratching phenomena.

9、 Small gold and silver characters
Professionals say that small characters are afraid of plate drying during the batch process. These all require proper control of the operation process, the printing plate must be wiped clean, the ink viscosity is controlled at around 14, and attention should be paid to plate drying.
In short, qualified prints must meet:
Accurate register; uniform ink color; full dots; ink and water balance; no printing faults in the prints, such as smudging, scratching, flower plates, and blurred plates, etc. Shunxingyuan strictly adheres to the original manuscript and pursues high-quality prints to adapt to people's increasingly improved aesthetic concepts.
