I. Cellophane Classification and Characteristics
Uncoated Cellophane
Generally used for fresh food, it is breathable and can be sterilized at high temperatures.
Coated Cellophane
Classification: Includes high barrier coatings, semi-barrier coatings, matte coatings, mildew-proof coatings, and anti-fog coatings. Barrier coatings are further divided into heat-sealable coatings, adhesive coatings, and double-sided heat-sealable adhesive types.

II. Production Process
Using wood pulp board as raw material, the specific process is as follows:
Wood pulp board is dissolved in an alkaline solution for mercerization.
Carbon disulfide is added to the mercerized pulp to form cellulose xanthate.
Cellulose xanthate is added to a mixture of sodium sulfate and dilute sulfuric acid to form cellulose.
The cellulose is washed three times to remove sulfur, then bleached, glycerin is added, and a film is blown by casting, finally forming cellophane.
The cellophane is slit and bagged to form cellophane bags.
III. Weight Specifications
Common weights of cellophane are 30g, 32g, 45g, 50g, 60g, the thickest is 60g, generally available in 30 the range of 60g.
IV. Certification
Possesses FSC, home compostable, industrial compostable, sprout mark, FSCC2000 food certification and other international certifications 。
V. Degradation
The degradation period of uncoated cellophane is within 2 months, and the degradation period of coated cellophane is within 4 months.
Cellophane is resistant to 190 degrees and is anti-static, which gives it unique advantages in applications with temperature and static electricity requirements.
