1、 Do you have design files for color-printed packaging bags?

Sometimes enterprises have their own packaging designers or find other design companies to do the design. In such cases, the design drawings are handed over to the packaging bag manufacturer, who will then perform color printing layout design.

If there are no design drawings, you need to prepare the text to be provided to the packaging bag manufacturer for design. The specific text content required may vary by industry, but is generally similar. It mainly includes essential color printing information: product name, logo, trademark, main ingredients (can be named by formula), product registration barcode, net content, manufacturer information (including full name, license number, and address), QS mark or certificate number (CS mark implemented in 2017), product standard number, storage method, usage instructions, precautions if there are allergens or contraindications, as well as the size specifications of the packaging bag, the desired bag type and material, the unwinding direction of the packaging film roll, common theme colors, an overview of the company's culture, common background images, and the theme to be conveyed. This text information must be carefully checked in detail, and there must be no typos.

Then, the packaging bag manufacturer's designer will proceed with the design, and the completed design drawings will be submitted to the client for confirmation. The client needs to carefully verify the information again. There might be several rounds of design and confirmation, and the time taken is not fixed. If there are no issues, the next step will be taken.

2、 Packaging Bag Color Printing Plate Making

The engineers of the packaging bag manufacturer will perform printing layout and make printing copper plates based on the design drawings, material, and process requirements. This process typically takes about 5-6 days.

3、 Printing and Lamination Slitting

The selected packaging bag material undergoes color printing. Different equipment has different printing speeds and effects, with high-speed machines offering the highest efficiency. After color printing, other processes such as aluminum washing, hot stamping, and surface lamination are carried out. This is followed by the lamination of the heat-seal layer and other performance-enhancing film layers. After lamination, drying and curing are required. Once lamination is complete, the bonding quality is inspected.

4、 Bag Making for Color-Printed Packaging Bags

The slitted and rewound color-printed film rolls are placed onto the corresponding bag-making machine for bag production. For example, a zipper bag-making machine can produce stand-up pouches with zippers, eight-side seal bags, and other types of bags. Some bag types require film folding before being processed on the bag-making machine.

Step five: Quality inspection and packaging. Unqualified products are removed, striving for zero unqualified products to leave the factory. Qualified products are then packaged, some using cartons for packaging, others using nylon bags.

Step six: Delivery and acceptance. Delivery is usually done via freight logistics; however, express delivery may be used if it's urgent. The beautifully printed color packaging bags are delivered to the customer for acceptance.
